Several Insurance Companies Collectively Submit Financial Reports, What's Going On?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Several insurance companies are observed to have not yet submitted their 2025 financial reports (lapkeu) by the reporting deadline of 31 March 2026.

The Executive Head of Insurance, Guarantee, and Pension Fund Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Ogi Prastomiyono, stated that the delay is related to the implementation of PSAK 117. According to him, the new standard is causing difficulties for industry players in the financial reporting process.

Ogi mentioned that OJK is considering granting a relaxation in the form of an extension of the reporting deadline. This step is taken to avoid forcing the preparation of financial reports under unprepared conditions.

“We want to give a relaxation by adding time because if it’s forced (to submit financial reports), it wouldn’t be good either,” Ogi explained when met at the RI House of Representatives Building in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/4/2026).

Thus, the reporting deadline is expected to be extended until around April to at most June 2026. However, Ogi emphasised that this relaxation policy applies only to the fourth-quarter 2025 reporting period.

Regarding the number of companies that have not submitted financial reports, OJK admitted it does not yet have precise data. This is because the reporting process is still ongoing and not fully verified by the authority.

Nevertheless, based on disclosures on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, several insurance issuers are observed to have not yet announced their 2025 fiscal year financial reports.

Some of them include PT Asuransi Dayin Mitra Tbk (ASDM), PT Asuransi Maximus Graha Persada Tbk (ASMI), PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi Tbk (JMAS), PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk (MREI), and PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU).
