Ayu urged members of the public who will be travelling on 17 August to take note of the service modification information and adjust their travel times accordingly.
“We urge customers to plan their journeys well and to always check for updated information before departing,” she said.
Transjakarta has also deployed staff at a number of service points to assist passengers during the service modification period.
“The 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence is a shared celebration. Therefore, we want to ensure that the public still has access to public transport to carry out their activities or enjoy the series of independence celebrations in Jakarta safely and comfortably,” said Ayu.
