To date, Central Jakarta Metro Police investigators have examined 17 witnesses. Investigators are also continuing to examine a number of expert witnesses to shed light on the criminal incident. “We will continue to conduct examinations, particularly of relevant stakeholders, as well as witnesses who are competent to provide testimony and strengthen the legal facts in the examination or investigation process we are carrying out,” he explained. Senior Commissioner Reynold stressed that his party is handling the case according to procedure by prioritising scientific investigation. To complete the investigation process, investigators have received the visum et repertum results for the three victims, named Muhammad Jaelani, Tegar Saputra, and Adit Saputra. The three victims were confined for 21 days after being accused of stealing printing plates worth Rp 250 million. During their confinement, the three were shackled at the feet and not given food for three days. Meanwhile, the printing company has filed a counter-report against the three victims on charges of theft.
