Seven Rockets Strike Near Khamenei Residence and Iranian Presidential Palace

Tehran — Approximately seven rockets struck Tehran near the residence of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Presidential Palace, according to reports from the Fars news agency on Saturday.

The Mehr news agency subsequently reported, citing a source, that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was uninjured in the attacks.

On the same day, residential apartments were reported destroyed by missile strikes in several central districts of Tehran, according to reports from Iranian television channel IRIB News Network on Saturday.

Two additional explosions shook the Iranian capital, according to reports from Iranian news agencies and Tasnim.

Several explosions also occurred in the port city of Chabahar, located in the Sistan and Baluchestan province in south-eastern Iran, according to reports from the Mehr news agency.

Israel launched strikes against Iran on Saturday morning and declared a state of emergency throughout the Zionist entity, according to Israel’s Ministry of Defence.
