Samsung Electronics Indonesia has officially launched its latest flagship line, Samsung Galaxy S26, which sets new standards in the smartphone industry. Branded as “The Next AI Phone”, the device offers not merely hardware specification improvements, but rather more proactive and intuitive artificial intelligence integration for users.
MX Product Marketing Senior Manager of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Ilham Indrawan, during the product presentation in South Jakarta on Thursday, 26 February 2026, emphasised that the Galaxy S26 is designed to understand user needs without requiring complex instructions.
“We call Samsung Galaxy S26 the next AI phone, because it already understands us so we don’t need to do anything—it can search for information or simulate something,” said Ilham.
One of the most practical security features introduced is Call Screening. This feature functions as a personal assistant that filters every incoming call, particularly from unknown numbers or potential spam.
When activated, Galaxy AI will answer the call first, asking the caller’s identity and purpose. Users can monitor the conversation transcript in real-time on the screen to decide whether to accept or reject the call.
The Now Nudge feature brings the user experience to a more personal level. AI on the Galaxy S26 can read the context of user activity to provide relevant suggestions at the right moment.
The Circle to Search capability on Samsung Galaxy S26 has been updated. Whereas previous versions only recognised marked or circled objects, the Galaxy S26 can now understand all objects and contextual information displayed on screen comprehensively.
The Bixby virtual assistant has undergone an update focused on device performance. Users can adjust phone settings using simple conversational language. For example, when phone temperature increases, a user can simply say, “My phone suddenly feels hot, can you fix the problem?” AI will automatically investigate the cause and resolve the issue without the user needing to access complicated settings menus.

Enhanced Photo Assist has become a standout feature for its ability to perform in-painting and out-painting with remarkable precision using only simple descriptions, making it easy for novice users to produce professional-quality photographs.
