Seven Indomaret Outlets in Central Lombok Closed as Management Responds
Seven Indomaret outlets in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), have been closed since last Saturday. Indomaret management stated the closures relate to a local government review of regional spatial planning. Operational Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama, Andreas Djajaputra, said seven stores in Lombok have been closed since last Saturday. ‘Seven stores have been closed since last Saturday,’ Andreas said during an interview at the Ministry of Manpower in Jakarta on Tuesday (26 May 2026). According to Andreas, the closure of the seven outlets was due to the regional spatial planning review by the local government. ‘Because of the spatial planning review,’ he explained. Regarding the possibility of reopening, Andreas could not confirm. The company is currently awaiting the district government’s review outcome on spatial planning. ‘We don’t know yet. We’re waiting for the district government’s decision,’ he added.
