The number of pilgrims still there is part of the total 1,344 pilgrims from Bengkulu dispatched this Hajj season. Three pilgrims died during the pilgrimage: Tukiman Sadi Kromo Karso from Bengkulu City, who passed away in Madinah on 29 April 2026; Mustina Abdul Basir from North Bengkulu Regency, who died in Makkah on 1 June 2026; and Kasnini Rasyid Dersai, 63, from Bengkulu City, who died on Friday, 12 June, at 00:30 Saudi Arabian time in the ICU of Jeddani Hospital. Kurniawan explained that health services for Bengkulu pilgrims continued during the repatriation process. To date, Hajj Health Workers for the Bengkulu group have provided 5,815 health services to pilgrims. Officers also conducted monitoring of high-risk priority pilgrims, totalling 6,083 visitations during the Hajj operations. No new referrals were made to the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) or Saudi Arabian hospitals; cumulative referrals stand at 10 to KKHI and 32 to RSAS. The overall health condition of Bengkulu pilgrims is improving, and currently no pilgrims from Bengkulu are receiving treatment at KKHI Makkah. One pilgrim, Kasmid Kasan Bin Hasan, 80, from Kaur Regency, who had been treated at Ibnu Sina Hospital in Jeddah, returned to Indonesia with group PDG 07 on 11 June 2026 and arrived in Kaur Regency the following day in stable condition. Upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport on 11 June 2026, Kasmid was referred to the Emergency Department of RSUP M Djamil Padang for further medical care. The patient requested to return home and was subsequently transported to Bengkulu by ambulance. After arriving at the Debarkasi Antara Hajj Dormitory in Bengkulu, a medical team examined him and found his condition to be fairly stable, though still weak. Hajj health officials provided advocacy and recommended referral to the Emergency Department of RSUD M. Yunus Bengkulu, but the family decided to take the patient back to Kaur Regency.
