Seven Days Before Eid: 231,328 Vehicles Enter and Exit Pandaan-Malang Toll Road

Toll operator PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang (JPM) recorded 231,328 vehicles entering and exiting Malang between 11 March and 14 March 2026 (H-10 to H-7 before Eid al-Fitr 1447H), representing an increase of 1.19 per cent compared to normal traffic levels of 228,598 vehicles.

General Manager of Operations at JPM, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Guntur assured users that optimal services remain in place during the extended Eid holiday period. “Traffic volume increases from H-10 to H-7 remain manageable with smooth-flowing conditions, with no significant surges yet as the extended Eid holiday approaches. However, we remain committed to providing maximum service and rapid response times to road users as part of our ‘Comfortable Homecoming Together’ initiative,” Reza stated in a written statement on 15 March 2026.

PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang recorded traffic volumes at each toll gate on the Pandaan-Malang stretch between H-10 and H-7 of Eid 2026 as follows:

Purwodadi Gate: 12,566 vehicles entered Malang (up 1.6 per cent from normal traffic of 12,373 vehicles); 12,889 vehicles exited Malang (up 0.6 per cent from normal traffic of 12,812 vehicles).

Lawang Gate: 13,070 vehicles entered Malang (up 9.8 per cent from normal traffic of 11,907 vehicles); 16,409 vehicles exited Malang (up 8.03 per cent from normal traffic of 15,189 vehicles).

Singosari Gate: 52,552 vehicles entered Malang (down 6 per cent from normal traffic of 55,909 vehicles); 48,817 vehicles exited Malang (up 1.9 per cent from normal traffic of 47,908 vehicles).

Pakis Gate: 14,611 vehicles entered Malang (up 7.24 per cent from normal traffic of 13,624 vehicles); 13,207 vehicles exited Malang (up 7.22 per cent from normal traffic of 12,318 vehicles).

Malang Gate: 25,301 vehicles entered Malang (up 2.4 per cent from normal traffic of 24,719 vehicles); 21,906 vehicles exited Malang (up 0.3 per cent from normal traffic of 21,839 vehicles).

PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang urges toll road users to prepare their journeys carefully by ensuring vehicles are in good condition, charging electronic devices and refuelling before travel, ensuring adequate electronic toll card balances, and packing sufficient provisions.
