JAKARTA — KAI Commuter cancelled seven services on the Bogor Line on Monday (19 October 2026). The company’s Vice-President for Corporate Secretary, Karina Amanda, said it had to adjust its service patterns as a result of the cancellations.

“On behalf of the operator, I apologise for these service adjustments,” Karina said in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday.

She explained that the services were cancelled because two trainsets are still being repaired by technical teams from KAI Commuter and INKA. The company is seeking to complete the repairs as quickly as possible while adhering to safety and reliability standards before the trains return to service.

“We fully understand the impact on passengers’ comfort. Even so, safety, security and reliability remain our priorities in operating Commuter Line services every day,” Karina said.

Karina noted that Monday typically sees the highest passenger volumes, as regular users and workers return to their activities after the weekend. KAI Commuter acknowledged that the cancellations had affected passengers, particularly on the Bogor Line.

“We therefore urge Commuter Line users to plan ahead and consider other available departure times,” Karina said.

KAI Commuter also advised passengers to prioritise safety, follow instructions from staff at stations and on trains, and monitor schedules and train locations through the C-Access app or the company’s social media accounts.
