Seven Collaboration Programmes Between Jayapura District Investment Office and Indonesia Stock Exchange Papua
Jayapura – Seven collaboration programmes between the Jayapura District Investment and Integrated One-Stop Services Office (DPM-PTSP) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) were established following an audience between DPM-PTSP Head Gustaf Griapon, ST. M.Sos, accompanied by heads of licensing, business services, technical sections, and staff, with the BEI Papua Representative Office in Jayapura City.
The seven programmes comprise:
Capital Market Socialisation – Basic education on shares, bonds, and mutual funds for MSMEs, civil servants, students, and the general public.
Regional Capital Market School (SPMD) – Regular online and offline training with BEI and partner securities firms to develop competitive local investors.
Go Public Clinic – Mentoring for medium-scale businesses preparing for initial public offerings, including roadmap development, legal compliance, and corporate governance.
Papua Investment Forum – A business networking event bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and relevant authorities to identify financing opportunities and business development prospects.
Investment Gallery Development in Villages – Establishing capital market education centres in schools, campuses, or districts to broaden information reach to remote areas.
Safe Investment Campaign – Public education through social media, radio, local television, and community networks to prevent citizens from falling victim to illegal investment schemes.
Investment Corner in Public Services – Information booths at public service delivery points to facilitate direct capital market education access.
In addition to these seven programmes, the meeting discussed strategic cooperation plans for enhancing financial literacy, expanding capital market access, and opening alternative financing opportunities for residents and business operators in Jayapura District.
“This audience marks the beginning of strengthening partnership between DPM-PTSP and BEI, aligned with our vision to create an inclusive and sustainable investment ecosystem in Papua,” stated Gustaf Griapon on Thursday, 12 March 2026. DPM-PTSP presented a collaboration programme document encompassing seven key initiatives for 2026.

Through this audience, DPM-PTSP Jayapura and BEI Papua expressed joint commitment to strengthen public participation in the capital market, enhance business operator capacity, and provide wider financing alternatives to drive regional economic growth.
The collaboration is expected to: increase public financial literacy, open formal financing access for MSMEs, develop competent local investors, and strengthen a healthy and sustainable investment climate in Jayapura District.
DPM-PTSP Jayapura and BEI Papua will promptly follow up on the audience results by developing an implementation timeline for the programmes and establishing a technical collaboration team.
