Seven Arrested in Narcotics Party Raid in Bekasi; One Fugitive Sought Over 2,000 Ecstasy Pills
A suspicious operation at a house in Nusa Dua Citra Garden Complex, Jatikarya, Jatisampurna, Bekasi, has been exposed.
Police raided the residence after it was suspected of being frequently used as a location for drug parties. Despite the holy month of Ramadan, those involved remained indifferent to conducting such activities.
During the raid conducted by the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police, seven individuals were immediately detained. Remarkably, one of them turned out to be a police fugitive in a case involving the distribution of thousands of ecstasy pills.
The head of Unit 1, Subdirectorate 3 of the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of Metro Jaya Police, Senior Commissioner Ari Purwanto, stated that the raid was carried out on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at approximately 12:00 WIB.
“Seven people consisting of five men and two women. The seven are AS, FA, AY, RR, MH, S, and ML,” he said on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
Of the seven individuals arrested, police found that one, with the initials AS, was listed as a wanted person (DPO) in a case involving the distribution of 2,000 ecstasy pills that had previously been sought by authorities.
Not only did police apprehend the perpetrators, but they also discovered a number of drug evidence items in the house. These included methamphetamine weighing 18.35 grams and six ecstasy pills.
Additionally, authorities seized 5.48 grams of ecstasy and approximately 5 grams of cannabis that were allegedly used during the drug party at the location.
The raid itself stemmed from a community report suspicious of activities at the house. Residents suspected the house was frequently being used as a place for drug abuse.
After conducting investigations and coordinating with residential security, police then moved to conduct the raid and detain the house occupants.
“Six other individuals detained tested positive for narcotics in their urine tests,” said Ari.
The seven individuals arrested have now been brought to the office of the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police. Police are still investigating the role of each individual in the suspected drug abuse and distribution cases.
