Settlement with the thief who made her a suspect, Instagram celebrity Nabilah O'Brien: So Exhausted

Jakarta, VIVA – The Instagram celebrity and owner of the Bibi Kelinci restaurant, Nabilah O’Brien, says she is relieved after undergoing mediation related to a saga that had dragged her name into suspect status.

The mediation took place at the Indonesian Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) and brought together her and the opposing party. After the mediation, Nabilah stated that the case that had ensnared her had reached a resolution. She even claimed that the suspect status previously attached to her is no longer.

‘So tired. The result is I want to sleep, in the end I won’t be a suspect anymore, right?’ Nabilah said, quoted on Monday, 9 March 2026.

During the event, Nabilah also expressed thanks to several parties she believes had helped resolve the matter.

‘I’d like to say thanks, firstly I want to thank Mr Habiburokhman. Brilliant,’ she said.

When asked about plans to attend the DPR (House of Representatives) regarding the case, Nabilah did not give a definite answer. She only asked for the developments to be awaited.

‘I’ll be informed later. Anyway, I’m not a suspect,’ she said.

Nabilah also stressed that the issue that sparked the controversy has now ended peacefully. She said she forgives all parties involved.

‘I’ll forgive everyone, I want to sleep, I want to work, I’m no longer a suspect, that’s all. I forgive,’ she said.

Regarding the police report that had been filed at the sector police level, Nabilah also said that the report has been withdrawn as part of the peace agreement.

‘I’m forgiving 100 per cent, yes (the report has been withdrawn) I want to sleep because of it,’ she said.

Earlier reports said the dispute between the influencer and owner of Restoran Bibi Kelinci, Nabilah O’Brien, and guitarist Zhendy Kusuma had finally found a resolution.

The two parties agreed to settle the matter amicably after mediation by Wassidik, the Investigation Oversight Bureau of Bareskrim Polri. The mediation took place at the Bareskrim building in Jakarta, on Sunday, 8 March 2026.

In the meeting, both sides who had previously lodged reports against each other agreed to resolve the issue in a family-like manner. The Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Polri Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said the mediation was attended directly by the parties involved.
