PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has set a special fare of Rp1 for the LRT Jabodebek service on the first and second days of Eid 2026, in accordance with government stipulations. This policy aims to ease public mobility during the Eid period, whether for family gatherings or holiday activities, by utilising safe, secure, comfortable, and integrated public transportation. During this period, KAI will operate 270 LRT Jabodebek trips daily to support smooth travel for the public during Eid. LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager, Radhitya Mardika, stated that the Rp1 fare implementation is part of KAI’s efforts to provide affordable and accessible public transport services. “With the Rp1 fare, the public can utilise LRT Jabodebek as a mobility option during Eid, whether for family visits or sightseeing in urban areas,” said Radhitya. As part of service readiness, LRT Jabodebek is strengthening operations at stations and on trains, including adding staff, managing passenger flows, and optimising the ticketing system to ensure smooth service. Additionally, operational readiness is supported by service and security personnel at all service points to guarantee user safety and comfort during the Eid period. This Rp1 fare policy reaffirms LRT Jabodebek’s role as a flagship public transport in urban areas, particularly in supporting public mobility during the Eid festivities. “LRT Jabodebek is expected to be part of the public’s journey during Eid, whether for family visits or enjoying various destinations in the urban region,” Radhitya added.
