The index had been in positive territory earlier in the morning, touching a daily high of 6,377.19, before consistently declining towards the end of the session. Despite the index’s fall, foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR 2.6 trillion across all markets, comprising IDR 8.1 trillion in foreign purchases and IDR 5.5 trillion in foreign sales. A total of 418 stocks declined, 288 advanced, and 253 remained unchanged. Trading value reached IDR 16.29 trillion, involving 20.3 billion shares in 1.53 million transactions. Bank Central Asia (BBCA) and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) were the most sought-after stocks by foreign investors, with net buys of IDR 284.7 billion and IDR 276.2 billion respectively. Other notable net foreign buys included Mitra Adiperkasa (MAPI) at IDR 41.1 billion and AKR Corporindo (AKRA) at IDR 7.8 billion. On the selling side, Chandra Asri Pacific (TPIA) led with a net foreign sell of IDR 259.9 billion, followed by Bumi Resources (BUMI) at IDR 84.4 billion and Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS) at IDR 83.4 billion.
