PT DSI Persero will fully assume export functions from January 2027. The Ministry of Public Works aims to complete the technical planning for the Serpong-Bogor via Parung toll road by 2026. The 32-kilometre strategic project has reached 80% progress in planning. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo stated that acceleration efforts are ongoing to finalise the planning stages promptly to strengthen connectivity in the Jabodetabek region. ‘The project is currently in the technical planning phase, with progress nearing 80%. We are speeding up the process to complete the planning this year,’ he said in a statement on Sunday (24/5). The project has an investment value of Rp12.35 trillion under a Government and Business Cooperation (KPBU) scheme without using state budget funds. The toll road is projected to reduce travel time from Bogor to Tangerang to approximately 45 minutes. Construction will be carried out by PT Bogor Serpong Infra Selaras, a consortium comprising PT Jasa Marga, PT Adhi Karya, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur, and PT Persada Utama Infra, with a 40-year concession period. Technically, the toll road will be divided into four main sections. Additionally, it will feature two main junctions — Salabenda and Serpong — and three interchanges in Pondok Udik, Putat Nutug, and Rumpin. The Ministry of Public Works confirmed that all construction processes will adhere to strict technical standards and regulations, including construction safety aspects. The toll road is expected not only to streamline logistics but also reduce operational costs and drive growth of new economic hubs along the Bogor-Tangerang corridor. Jakarta High Prosecution Office detained former Director General of Water Resources (SDA) of the Ministry of Public Works, DP, over a Rp2 billion bribe and luxury car. Two other officials are implicated in a Rp16 billion fictitious project. PTPP successfully completed the SPPG project across 15 provinces in 37 days, supporting the Free Nutritious Meals programme to combat stunting and improve human resource quality. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo revealed he sought prior approval from President Prabowo Subianto before the search process. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo stated he was unaware of the case prompting the Jakarta High Prosecution Office’s search at his ministry. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo decided against implementing work-from-home for staff to ensure infrastructure and disaster readiness. In its place, office electricity usage has been tightened.
