Series of Sacrificial Cows Provided by President Prabowo's Aid Distributed Across Various Regions, Some Weighing Up to 1.3 Tonnes
President Prabowo Subianto has distributed sacrificial cow aid to several regions in Indonesia ahead of the Eid al-Adha 1447 H celebrations. These cattle, which feature significant weights, are slated to be slaughtered in various territories, with the meat to be distributed to the public, including disaster survivors.
In Palu, a presidential aid cow named ‘Si Gerandong’ is being raised in a fattening pen. This Brangus breed weighs approximately 841 kilograms and will be slaughtered during Eid al-Adha to provide meat for disaster survivors in the region.
In Ternate, a Limousin Cross cow named ‘Kamandanu’, weighing around 850 kilograms and valued at approximately Rp87 million, is being prepared for sacrifice at the Al-Munawwar Grand Mosque. The meat will subsequently be distributed to the people of Ternate.
In Pekalongan, a presidential aid Simmental cow has reached a weight of 1.3 tonnes. The animal is being cared for by local farmers and will be slaughtered during the Eid al-Adha 1447 H momentum for distribution to the local community.
In Banda Aceh, a Simmental cow weighing approximately 950 kilograms has also been prepared for sacrifice. This cow is part of the President’s aid programme and is currently under the care of local farmers.
Meanwhile, in Tangerang, a Brangus cow named ‘Sambo’, weighing approximately 1.1 tonnes and valued at around Rp122 million, is also being prepared. It will be slaughtered during the Eid al-Adha festivities, with the meat being distributed to the residents of Tangerang.
The distribution programme for these sacrificial cows is part of President Prabowo’s commitment to supporting communities across various regions, particularly leading up to the Eid al-Adha 1447 H celebrations.
