Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) soldier Sergeant Ahmad Muzammul Farisa has passed away following an assault by his seniors. The Air Force Military Police (Puspom TNI AU) has named four suspects in connection with the case.

“Based on our investigation results, four individuals have been named as suspects: Serda MTS, Serda MAD, Serda JM, and Serda AH. All of them are members of the Indonesian Air Force,” stated the Head of the Air Force Military Police, Air Vice Marshal TNI Daan Sulfi, during a press conference at the Air Force Military Police Office, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (16/09/2026).

Daan Sulfi noted that there were three victims in this case, though only Sergeant Ahmad lost his life. “The victims of this assault include Sergeant Ahmad Muzammil Fariza, who served as Admin Urtu Subbagmin Bangkung Servis Dispsi AU. He passed away. The other victims were Sergeant ZN and Sergeant RP,” he added.

He explained that Sergeant Ahmad was assaulted by his seniors at an Air Force dormitory. The assault took place on Wednesday (0%9) at approximately 21:05 WIB.

“The incident occurred at Mess Galaksi, the dormitory for Dispsi AU, located on Jalan Kopatdara, Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma,” he said.

It was previously reported that Sergeant Ahmad Muzammul Farisa’s death was suspected to be unnatural. The victim’s father, Toni Eko Prasetyo, stated that his son sustained injuries to his face and chest.

“There were injuries to the chin and the chest, according to the information received,” Toni said, as reported by detikJatim on Friday (11/09).

Toni learned about the condition of his eldest son’s body through sent photo files. On Thursday (10/09) at around 22:00 WIB, the body of Sergeant Ahmad had not yet arrived at the funeral home in Jonggrang Village, West Magetan District.

Toni stated that his son was suspected to have died as a victim of an assault carried out by approximately four seniors at the barracks on Thursday (10/09) morning at around 03:00 WIB. Toni noted that he initially received conflicting reports regarding the cause of his son’s death.

“At 04:00 WIB, I was informed that my son had died in an accident. However, another friend informed me that it was not an accident, but rather an assault by seniors,” Toni explained.
