Serang Police Chief Meets Military Commander, Reaffirms Commitment to Public Order

The Chief of Serang Police (Kapolres), AKBP Andri Kurniawan, visited Kodim 0602/Serang. The visit was a courtesy call aimed at strengthening security and public order (kamtibmas).

The visit took place on Wednesday (15/7/2026) at the Kodim 0602/Serang headquarters in Serang City, Banten. Kapolres Serang and his delegation were received by the Military District Commander (Dandim) of 0602/Serang, Colonel Arm Oke Kistiyanto.

“This coordination and institutional gathering is part of efforts to strengthen synergy, solidarity and cross-agency cooperation in order to maintain security and public order stability within the jurisdiction of Serang Police,” said Andri.

Andri said that he and the Dandim were ready to support government programmes in Serang. He stated that the police and the military would work together to keep the situation in Serang conducive.

“Building a joint commitment to support government programmes and to create a safe, orderly and conducive situation across Serang Regency,” he said.

Earlier, Andri had already paid a courtesy visit to the Serang District Attorney’s Office (Kejari). Andri and the Chief of Serang City Police (Kapolresta), Kombes Yudha Satria, were received by the Head of the Serang District Attorney’s Office (Kajari), Dado Achmad Ekron.
