The Police Chief of Serang, AKBP Andri Kurniawan, has called on officers deployed in Operation Ketupat Maung 2026 to maintain effective public communication. According to him, travellers need to be informed about traffic management measures, police services, and public safety and order messages.

On Wednesday, 12 March 2026, Serang Police held a joint force assembly for Operation Ketupat Maung 2026 at Serang Police Headquarters. A total of 546 personnel from Serang Police, the Military District Command (Kodim), relevant agencies, and members of the Saka Bhayangkara scout unit were deployed for the 2026 Centralised Police Ketupat Operation. The operation will run from 13 to 25 March 2026.

“A total of 546 joint personnel from Serang Police, Kodim, relevant agencies, and Saka Bhayangkara will be deployed in Operation Ketupat 2026 to provide services and security to the public,” said Andri Kurniawan.

Andri explained that personnel would be stationed at six Security Posts (Pospam) and one Service Post (Posyan) established at strategic locations. These posts are expected to provide maximum service to people travelling during the Eid homecoming period.

“The posts prepared include Asem Security Post, Cemplang Security Post, Modern Service Post, Tambak Security Post, Interchange Security Post, Ciujung Security Post, and Ciruas Security Post,” Andri explained.

Andri emphasised the importance of effective public communication during the operation so that the public could obtain clear information regarding police services. He also reminded all personnel to maintain their health and carry out their duties responsibly throughout the operation.

“The operation must be accompanied by effective public communication. Ensure that the public is aware of all police service information, public order and safety messages, and the implementation of traffic management measures,” stressed the Police Chief.

“Maintain your health and carry out your duties well so that the public can experience safety and comfort during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations,” said Andri.
