A man in Serang, Banten, identified as AS (47), murdered his girlfriend BY (40) by hanging her while she was still alive. The murder occurred a week before the victim’s body was discovered on Monday, 18 May at approximately 5pm. The couple had arranged to meet in a garden in Gelam Village at 3am. During the meeting, the victim made remarks that angered the suspect, who reportedly had no money or ‘mokondo’. The suspect became enraged and attacked the victim. ‘First, he hit her from behind.
