Seoul-Denpasar direct flights open

DENPASAR, Bali: Governor Ida Bagus Oka says the direct flights
from Seoul to Jakarta via Denpasar to begin next month are
expected to increase the number of South Korean visitors to the
island.

Some 35,000 South Korean tourists visit the island every year,
Oka told reporters after meeting with South Korean Ambassador Min
Hyung Kee.

Oka also said that Bali has long had a cordial relationship
with South Korea, especially its Cheju province, through the
routine sending of cultural missions between the two countries.
