Sentencing Hearing for Nine Defendants in Crude Oil Corruption Case Set for Thursday, 26 February

The alleged corruption case involving the management of crude oil is entering its final stage. The nine defendants in this case will face sentencing at a hearing on Thursday, 26 February. “The verdict will be delivered on Thursday, 26 February 2026, at 13:00 WIB,” said the head of the panel of judges, Fajar Kusuma Aji, at the Jakarta Central Corruption Court on Tuesday, 24 February 2026. The judge reminded everyone not to attempt to influence the panel. The judge also requested that anyone claiming to represent the panel should report it immediately. “We remind everyone not to try to influence the judges, either through their families or in any other way. Just report it if anyone claims to represent the judges,” said the judge. According to the indictment, the alleged corruption in the management of crude oil has caused state losses of IDR 285 trillion. There are two main issues in this case, namely related to the import of refinery products or fuel oil, and related to the sale of non-subsidised diesel. The nine defendants in this case are: 1. Riva Siahaan (RS), former Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, 2. Sani Dinar Saifuddin (SDS), former Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, 3. Maya Kusmaya (MK), former Director of Central Marketing and Trading at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, 4. Edward Corne (EC), former VP of Trading Operations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, 5. Yoki Firnandi (YF), former Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping, 6. Agus Purwono (AP), former VP of Feedstock Management at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, 7. Muhamad Kerry Adrianto Riza (MKAR), beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa, 8. Dimas Werhaspati (DW), Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and also Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim, and 9. Gading Ramadhan Joedo (GRJ), Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and Director of PT Orbit Terminal Merak.
