Sentencing for 11 Defendants in Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Extortion Case: From 1.5 to 6.5 Years!
A total of 11 defendants implicated in the alleged extortion and gratification case concerning the processing of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) certificates within the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) have been sentenced by the Panel of Judges.
The sentences handed down to the defendants vary, ranging from 1 year and 6 months to 6 years and 6 months in prison.
The eleven defendants include Temurila and Miki Mahfud, each sentenced to 1 year and 6 months; Fahrurozi, sentenced to 4 years; and Subhan, Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra, Sekarsari Kartika Putri, Anitasari Kusumawati, and Supriadi, each sentenced to 4 years and 6 months.
Furthermore, Irvian Bobby Mahendro Putro received a 6-year sentence, Hery Sutanto was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months, and Immanuel Ebenezer, also known as Noel Ebenezer, received 4 years and 6 months.
“Declaring that the defendants are proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing acts of corruption jointly,” stated Chief Judge Nur Sari Baktiana during the verdict reading at the Corruption Crime Court of the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday, 4 June 2026.
In addition to imprisonment, the defendants were each fined Rp200 million, with a provision that failure to pay the fine would result in a substitute prison sentence of 90 days.
Moreover, several defendants were also ordered to pay restitution for the corrupt funds they had enjoyed. These amounts include Hery at Rp7.59 billion; Subhan at Rp1.94 billion; Gerry at Rp828.5 million; Bobby at Rp36.04 billion; Sekarsari at Rp900 million; Anita at Rp1.35 billion; Supriadi at Rp3 billion; Noel Ebenezer at Rp3.435 billion; and Fahrurozi at Rp35 million.
