Sense of justice

Herewith I would like to ask you to convey my warmest and
deepest feelings of gratitude to Chief Judge Benjamin
Mangkoedilaga as well as Judges Sumaryono and Tengku Abdul
Rachman Husni of the Jakarta State Administrative Court for
having the moral integrity and courage to let justice prevail by
deciding that the Minister of Information's decision to revoke
Tempo's publishing license was unlawful.

Thank you very much, Bapak Benjamin Mangkoedilaga and
colleagues, for your tremendous contribution in helping me (and
countless other Indonesians) back on the road to eventually
reaching my ultimate goal: a re-establishment of my trust in our
legal system.

You are men of honor, men with a keen sense of justice, men
who make me so proud to be an Indonesian citizen.

The spirit of our country, the Republic of Indonesia, must be
very much pleased with this excellent golden anniversary gift you
so thoughtfully provided for the republic!
