Sense of crisis of our officials
Sense of crisis of our officials
From Neraca
Are our high-ranking officials unwilling to extricate us from the present crisis? This is a valid question to ask state executives. From day to day, their deeds are not headed towards finding a solution to the crisis. They even try to slam the door if there are signs that improvement is in the air.
The state agenda, public decisions, improvements in service and disciplinary enforcement seem to be only a game to play. Problems concerning the country and the nation from day to day are piling up, while the solutions are still nowhere to be found.
One case is covered by another deliberately fabricated case while a new problem will immediately arise to conceal the current issue. The country is intentionally stuffed with problems, not with solutions. The state has become highly skilled in hiding and creating problems and also in allowing matters to remain unresolved.
Akbar Tandjung's detention, for example, has been obfuscated by Winfried Simatupang's fund repayments.
If we remain like this, how can we make any progress? The country's elite must "get a grip".
