Senior High School Academic Ability Test Scheduled for Late October

The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has confirmed this year’s Senior High School Academic Ability Test (TKA) will take place from 26 October to 8 November, a week earlier than in 2023. Head of the Education Assessment Centre (Pusmendik) Rahmawati said the revised schedule responds to feedback that testing multiple subjects in a single day was suboptimal, leading to an extension from two to four days per session. Registration opens 18 August to 27 September, with main testing in two waves (26-29 October and 2-5 November), special sessions on 31 October-1 November and 7-8 November, supplementary testing from 16-29 November, and results announced on 23 December.
