The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) reopened the Senen Sentral Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) in the Senen area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon. The bridge, which sustained damage during the riots in Jakarta last August, has been fully repaired and is now available for public use.

Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, stated that the bridge was among the structures damaged during the capital’s unrest in August 2025. He noted that the repairs were the responsibility of the central government through the Ministry of Public Works (PUPR). However, despite the repairs being completed, the bridge remained closed due to a delay in the official handover process.
