The chaotic situation of the Senen bus terminal in Central Jakarta is reason enough for both road users and commuters to be concerned. Everyday hundreds of city buses and private cars wind up in traffic jams in front of the terminal, while the sidewalk vendors freely occupy the sidewalks. Just the other day I saw a group of pickpockets, who roam freely in the area, seriously beat up two people waiting for their bus.

I hope the police take some measures to improve the situation. As for the station operators, the terminal needs renovating so that it can cope with the increasing number of the vehicles.
