Send Motorcycles by Train for Homecoming: Available for Pickup from Home

JAKARTA — Many homecoming travellers are shipping motorcycles to their hometowns for mobility during the Lebaran holiday period. Such shipments can now be arranged through KAI Logistik using train transport.

Travellers need not visit the railway station in person with their motorcycles, as the pickup service is available from home.

“Through this application, travellers can easily manage shipments from pickup, digital payment to real-time tracking,” said Dwi in an official statement.

Adjeng Putri Adhatu, Manager of Public Relations at KAI Logistik, stated that motorcycles intended for shipment must have their fuel tanks emptied. The officers collecting the motorcycles will assist in emptying the tanks.

KAI Logistik has urged the public to arrange motorcycle shipments in advance to avoid congestion during the peak homecoming period.

The company hopes this service will enable homecoming travellers to journey safely and comfortably whilst retaining personal transport for activities in their hometowns.
