SEMMI Central Board's accountability report accepted, Bintang Wahyu Saputra officially demissionary
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The accountability report (LPJ) of the Central Board of the Indonesian Muslim Students Union (PB SEMMI) was officially accepted at the IX SEMMI Congress, marking the end of the leadership term of Chairman Bintang Wahyu Saputra. The presentation of the LPJ, which carried the grand theme ‘One SEMMI Realises Astacita’, was delivered before regional delegates and branch leaders of SEMMI from all over Indonesia. The session proceeded solemnly until the current PB SEMMI board under Bintang Wahyu Saputra’s leadership was declared demissionary. In a written statement in Jakarta on Saturday, Bintang Wahyu Saputra expressed his deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to all board members and SEMMI cadres who supported the organisation’s journey during his tenure. He stated that the presentation of the LPJ was a manifestation of his commitment to the traditions of democracy and accountability within SEMMI. ‘I extend infinite thanks to all ranks of the PB SEMMI board and all cadres who have worked hard, struggled, and accompanied this journey to the finish line,’ said Wahyu. He noted that whilst his duties are complete and he is officially demissionary, the spirit of ‘One SEMMI’ must continue to be upheld as the primary foundation. ‘Remember that all cadres, wherever they are, are the front line for SEMMI’s development and progress in the future. Only with unity and the active role of cadres will SEMMI continue to be a driving force in realising the Astacita for an advanced and just Indonesia,’ Wahyu stated. With the completion of the LPJ presentation and the demission of the current board, the IX SEMMI Congress enters its next crucial phase: formulating the organisation’s strategic direction and electing a new leadership ready to carry the spirit of continuous transformation.
