Seminar on multimedia

JAKARTA (JP): State-owned PT Indosat will host a seminar,
Multimedia Technology in Internet Services in the Coming Second
Millennium, next Tuesday.

Indosat said yesterday the seminar to discuss the development,
technology and regulation of multimedia, would feature domestic
television executive Peter Gontha and Secretary-General of the
Ministry of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications Jonathan L.
Parapak

Indonesian Capital Market Association executive director
Joseph F. Luhukay, Jakarta Stock Exchange president Cyril Noeradi
and Republika daily chief editor Parni Hadi are also scheduled to
speak.

Indosat, which is developing the Indonesia Internet Exchange,
would hold an exhibition and multimedia demonstration from Dec.
16 to Dec. 20, Indosat said. (icn)
