JAKARTA (JP): Gramedia, Grasindo and the Jakarta Consulting
Group (JCG) will jointly hold a management seminar in four cities
and onboard the Awani Dream cruiser.

The seminar on actual management will be held at Hotel
Borobudur Inter-Continental, Jakarta on Sept 17, Hotel Shangri-
La, Surabaya on Sept 23, Hotel Sahid Makasar, Ujungpandang on
Sept 25, Hotel Novotel Medan, Oct 2 and Awani Dream 2 cruiser
from Oct 24 to Oct. 26.

JCG's training and consultation manager Cynthia F. Ferrari
said yesterday the seminar would feature AB Susanto, a lecturer
at the University of Indonesia and Atmajaya University
Yogyakarta, who is also JCG's managing partner.

AB Susanto said the seminar would discuss issues related to
human resources management and strategical leadership in facing
global environmental change.

The seminar aims to address the needs of executives and
businesspeople seeking innovative and proactive ways in
management.

Grasindo director P.M. Winarno said the seminar was a
nonprofit activity.

"We chose four cities which responded to holding a seminar and
exhibition activities," he said.(08)
