Seminar in Taipei to focus on investment opportunities in Indonesia
Taipei, Feb. 10 (CNA) The Taipei-based Chinese National Association of Industry and Commerce will hold a seminar Wednesday to allow Taiwanese entrepreneurs to familiarize themselves with investment opportunities in Indonesia.
The seminar is scheduled to take place from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
in the auditorium of the Taipei Farmers Association on Fuxing South Road.
According to a news release posted on the association's Web site, Johny F. Djafar, director of the Investment Department of the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taiwan, will brief the participants on the most current investment opportunities in Indonesia.
Chiang Ching-cheng, secretary general of the Indonesia Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, will also speak at the seminar to share his experience of investing in Indonesia.
Wu Fu-cheng, deputy director of the international affairs division of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, will present a research paper on Indonesia's economic recovery and challenges ahead.
His paper will also offer suggestions to help Taiwan's production industries make inroads into the Indonesian market.
