Semen Padang beats PSPS

JAKARTA (JP): Semen Padang managed to end its victory drought by defeating PSPS Pekanbaru 3-1 at Agus Salim Stadium in Padang on Thursday.

Host Semen Padang scored three goals by strikers Syafril M in the 15th minute, Husaini in the 40th minute and Purwanto in 78th minute. PSPS's sole goal was by Khairul Minan in the 18th minute.

PSPS coach Parlin Siagian said that he was disappointed with the result and said he felt his players were under form. (28/yan)
