Semarang govt has 276 open positions

The municipal government of Semarang announced recently that it
had 276 job opportunities, consisting of 158 educational, 61
medical and 57 technical posts.

According to Semarang public relations head Achyani, the
positions are open only to those between 18 and 40 years of age,
and job application forms must be submitted
between Oct. 25 and Nov. 6.

"We are not accepting applications by mail; all applicants
must deliver their applications directly to the municipal
government office," Achyani said.

Over 55,000 applicants applied for the same posts last
year. This year, 50,000 application forms are available free-of-
charge at the municipal government office. -- JP
