Semarang-Batang Toll Tariffs: Price Rise First, Discounts Later
The Semarang-Batang Toll Road tariffs have undergone official adjustment effective Saturday, 7 March 2026. The new tariff setting is based on the Ministry of Public Works Decree Number 18 KPTS/M/2026, which was established on 7 January 2026.
The tariff increase applies to all vehicle categories using the toll road operated by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang.
For Class I vehicles travelling from Batang or Pasekaran to Kalikangkung in Semarang, the tariff has increased from Rp 111,500 to Rp 144,500. This represents a rise of Rp 33,000, or approximately 29.6 percent compared to the previous tariff.
Adjustments also apply to Class II and III vehicles on the same route. Tariffs previously set at Rp 167,500 have risen to Rp 216,500, an increase of Rp 49,000, or around 29.3 percent.
Despite the tariff increase effective 7 March 2026, PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang is implementing a 23 percent discount on toll fares during the 2026 Lebaran holiday exodus period.
The Semarang-Batang toll tariffs will return to normal at Rp 144,500 for the longest route following the conclusion of the holiday travel season.
The Lebaran 2026 toll tariff discount period runs from 12 March 2026 at 05.00 WIB until 31 March 2026 at 24.00 WIB.
This means the Semarang-Batang toll tariff for the longest route, set at Rp 144,500 following the increase, will drop to Rp 111,500 during the holiday exodus and return period.
In addition to the 2026 holiday exodus toll discount, PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang is offering special discounts of up to 46 percent during the outbound exodus period on 15-16 March 2026, and the return period on 26-27 March 2026, subject to special conditions.
For the return journey, the discount applies to travel from Kalikangkung toll gate to Cikampek Utama toll gate.
The approximately 75-kilometre toll road is operated by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. According to the company’s official website, Jasa Marga is the largest shareholder of the toll road with a 44.18 percent stake.
