Semarang–Batang Toll Road tariffs have officially been adjusted starting from 00:00 WIB on Saturday, 7 March 2026. The increase was enacted based on the Minister of Public Works Decree No. 18 KPTS/M/2026 dated 7 January 2026. The adjustment information was conveyed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang via its official Instagram account, @official.jsb_, on Sunday, 8 March 2026. In the announcement, the company stated that the tariff adjustment was made in accordance with government decisions on the classification of motor vehicle categories and tariff adjustments on the tolled corridor. For Category I vehicles travelling from Batang/Pasekaran to Kalikangkung/Semarang, the tariff is now Rp 144,500, up from Rp 111,500, representing an increase of Rp 33,000 or about 29.6%. For Category II and III vehicles on the same route, tariffs rise from Rp 167,500 to Rp 216,500, an increase of Rp 49,000 or around 29.3%. Category IV and V tariffs increase from Rp 223,000 to Rp 289,000, a rise of Rp 66,000, about 29.6%. The tariff setting is based on feasibility investment studies and evaluation of the business plan, and does not follow the usual tariff adjustment mechanism tied to annual inflation. The company emphasised that all adjustments are still subject to the terms of the Toll Road Concession Agreement for the Semarang–Batang corridor. Additionally, toll road operators stated their commitment to continue improving service quality, comfort, and road safety through road maintenance, enhanced construction standards, and compliance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM). Road users are urged to ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before travelling. Traffic information for the Jasa Marga Group can be accessed via the 24-hour One Call Centre at 14080 or Travoy on iOS and Android.
