Selvi Gibran Opens Bhayangkari 2026 Bazaar, Hopes for MSME Advancement
Selvi Gibran Rakabuming, Chairwoman of Seruni Kabinet Merah Putih, officially opened the Bhayangkari Kreasi Nusantara (KBN) Bazaar 2026 at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). The event is part of the 74th Hari Kesatuan Gerak (HKG) Bhayangkari commemoration and features 727 MSME stalls from various regions across Indonesia.
The bazaar includes a range of supporting activities such as talkshows, workshops, traditional textile fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, and cultural performances. Running from 21 to 25 July 2026, the event is open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy flagship Bhayangkari MSME products while participating in the organised activities.
In her remarks, Selvi praised the role of Bhayangkari, noting that the organisation not only supports the duties of the Indonesian National Police but also actively promotes community economic empowerment through MSMEs. "This Kreasi Bazaar proves that the women of Bhayangkari possess extraordinary strength. This activity benefits not only police families but also the wider community. A companion is not merely a companion, but one who has value and is empowered," she stated.
Selvi expressed hope that the Bhayangkari Kreasi Bazaar will continue to grow as a platform for collaboration and promotion of Indonesian MSMEs. She also greatly appreciated the annual increase in the number of exhibition stands and hopes that future events will see the entire JCC exhibition area filled with flagship Bhayangkari MSME products.
Juliati Sigit Prabowo, Chairwoman of Bhayangkari, said the 2026 bazaar carries the theme "Nusantara Berdaya, Bhayangkari Berkarya" (Empowered Archipelago, Bhayangkari Creates). She described it as a commitment by Bhayangkari to support MSME empowerment, cultural preservation, and the development of the nation’s youth creativity.
"This theme reflects the spirit of Bhayangkari to continue supporting community economic empowerment through strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises, preserving national culture, and developing the creativity and innovation of the nation’s children," Juliati said. She noted that this year’s event is the largest since it was first held at the JCC, serving not only as a platform for promotion and economic transactions but also as a means to expand business networks and open collaboration opportunities for MSME players.
The five-day event also features interactive activities, talkshows, entertainment from well-known musicians, workshops, fashion shows, and various arts and cultural activities. Juliati concluded by expressing hope that the bazaar would not only serve as a venue for promotion and economic transactions but also strengthen relationships, expand business networks, open collaboration opportunities, and foster public appreciation for products made by the nation’s youth.
