Selective Foreign Net Buying Targets These Stocks as Primary Picks
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors recorded selective net buying actions in several stocks during the period of 30 March to 2 April 2026, amid lingering net selling pressures haunting the domestic stock market.
Based on trading data, although foreigners collectively recorded a net sell of Rp2.95 trillion over the week, foreign fund flows were evident entering certain stocks with quite significant accumulated values. This phenomenon reflects foreign investment rotation strategies towards stocks with specific catalysts and strengthening momentum amid still volatile market conditions.
Shares of PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk. (AADI) became the primary target with a net foreign buy of Rp314.1 billion. Followed by PT Emas Antam Indonesia Tbk. (EMAS) at Rp178 billion and PT MNC Studios International Tbk. (MSIN) at Rp176.2 billion. Next, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. (INDF) recorded a net buy of Rp121.7 billion, followed by PT United Tractors Tbk. (UNTR) at Rp107.2 billion.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) corrected by 0.99% weekly to the level of 7,026.78 from the previous position of 7,097.05. Throughout the week, the index reached a high of 7,207.16 and a low of 6,945.50, indicating still quite high volatility amid unstable market sentiment.
The weakening of the IHSG was also accompanied by a significant decline in trading activity. The average daily transaction value plunged by 36.69%, while transaction volume fell by 8.62%. Market capitalisation also eroded by 1.69% to Rp12,305 trillion.
