Selection Gets Tougher, Impia Launches AI Platform for Timed CPNS Test Simulations
Becoming a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) remains a dream for many people in Indonesia. In the 2024 CPNS selection, there were more than 3.9 million applicants vying for approximately 200,000 positions in central and regional agencies. This means that out of every 10 applicants, fewer than one successfully obtained the position they applied for.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of Impia, Yudha Situmorang, stated that the time constraints in completing the SKD and SKB questions are the biggest challenge in passing the CPNS selection. “Many participants actually have good abilities, but are not yet accustomed to facing pressure when working on questions within a limited time. Therefore, practice that resembles exam conditions is important to build readiness,” Yudha said in a statement on Monday, 22 June 2026.
As is known, participants are only given 100 minutes to complete 110 SKD questions, requiring them to make decisions quickly and accurately. Similarly, the computer-based Field Competency Selection (SKB) test also demands that participants answer each question quickly and precisely. This time limitation requires participants to prepare themselves by doing CPNS test simulations using a timer. The goal is to test their speed and confidence in completing as many SKD and SKB questions as possible in the shortest possible time.
To support this need, Yudha Situmorang and the Impia team have introduced a CPNS test simulation platform equipped with a timer system. The platform is designed to help participants practice in a more structured manner, monitor their skill development, and prepare independently before facing the selection. In addition to Impia freestyle and Impia tryout as question practice features, the platform also offers Impia battle, a feature that allows prospective CPNS test participants from across Indonesia to compete against one another. The application is also equipped with PIA AI, an artificial intelligence system specifically designed to enhance participants’ understanding of the CPNS test system and materials.
Rather than using Impia just before the SKD test, Yudha encourages prospective test participants to start practising immediately, even before the official CPNS test announcement is issued by the National Civil Service Agency (BKN).
