Selection Committee Invites Public Participation in KND Member Selection

The Selection Committee (Pansel) for members of the National Disability Commission (KND) for the 2026–2031 period is inviting the public to participate by providing feedback on the candidates undergoing the selection process.

“The names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the committee’s social media and official website. We are asking all levels of society to provide input to the Selection Committee,” said KND Selection Committee member Bahrul Fuad in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Bahrul Fuad stated that the selection process for this period is designed with a higher level of openness and broader public participation. This ensures that the community can not only monitor the progress of the selection process but also provide feedback on candidates who have advanced to the subsequent stages.

During these stages, disability organisations and the general public will be given the opportunity to learn about and evaluate the vision and mission of the KND member candidates.

This mechanism is expected to strengthen public participation while assisting the KND Selection Committee in gaining a broader perspective on the capacity, commitment, and ideas of the participants.

The KND Selection Committee invites eligible members of the public to take advantage of the registration period, which runs from 15–21 September 2026.
