Jakarta (ANTARA) - A number of volunteers supporting Prabowo Subianto, grouped under the National Secretariat of Indonesia Maju (Seknas IM), have assessed that the provision of incentives to Nutrition Programme Implementing Units (SPPG) represents a form of recognition for the hard work in making the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme a success.

Seknas Indonesia Maju Chairman Monisyah said that the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head’s Decree No. 401.1 of 2025, concerning the provision of incentives to SPPG, not only serves as encouragement but also as a form of appreciation for all elements involved in accelerating the implementation of MBG.

“The BGN wants to ensure that programme governance runs in accordance with regulations,” Monisyah said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.

He said the success of the MBG programme is inseparable from the synergy between the central government, regional governments, and field implementers, accompanied by oversight and transparency.

He expressed hope that with the legal framework regarding the provision of incentives for SPPG, there would be no misunderstandings concerning the mechanisms or the amount of incentives provided.

“Support from various parties will enable the implementation of MBG to run well. Corrections and input are still needed so that the programme runs optimally and reaches the right targets,” he said.

The BGN has established an incentive policy for SPPG managing foundations as part of the MBG programme for the 2026 fiscal year through BGN Head’s Decree No. 401.1 of 2025, signed on 29 December 2025.

Incentives are provided from the time SPPG units begin distributing MBG to beneficiaries, even if they have not yet reached full operational scale. Funds are disbursed on holidays and are exempt from income tax.
