Seizures of motorbikes, cars

In Jakarta, seizures of motorbikes or motor cars or crimes
against riders or passengers take place nearly every day. The
criminals have increased their actions everywhere, not just in
the remote outskirts of the capital.

Facts show that in general the police are always too slow to
take action, and if they decide to handle a crime case, they
normally will come late, or not approach the handling of the
crime in the way that people would expect. It is as if they have
forgotten that they are paid by the people's money to protect
them. Undeniably though, they do sometimes manage to capture the
criminals.

Being a resident of the capital, at present I do not always
feel secure every time I am on the road. The police should try to
deploy whatever methods they can to curb these crimes so as to
ensure that security, including security on the road, will
prevail.
