Seized assets from Ebenezer et al. corruption case exhibited, ready for auction at Hakordia
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has exhibited a number of seized assets related to the alleged extortion case in the processing of occupational safety and health (K3) certificates that implicated former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan and others, and is ready to auction them during the series of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) events.
“All confiscated assets will be auctioned on one occasion, namely during the Hakordia series of activities,” said KPK Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution Mungki Hadipratikto at the KPK State Confiscated Assets Storage House (Rupbasan) in Jakarta, Wednesday.
According to Mungki, the KPK decided to exhibit and auction the confiscated assets because the case has become final and legally binding. “The State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) will determine the fair value of an item to be auctioned. Meanwhile, the executor prosecutors as the selling officials will determine the limit,” he said.
