Se'Indonesia distributes 25,000 meal packages for Aceh flood victims
CEO and Co-Founder of Se’Indonesia Rinaldi Dharma Utama stated that post-disaster recovery requires sustained attention. “As a business operator born and developed in Indonesia, we hope to be able to accompany the community during this recovery period and provide some warmth to affected residents,” said Rinaldi in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Rinaldi noted that the 25,000 meal packages were equivalent to five tonnes of chicken meat. The distribution of meal packages also involved Kitabisa, targeting thousands of households across five districts: Aceh Tamiang, East Aceh, North Aceh, Bireuen, and Pidie Jaya.
Se’Indonesia also believes that collaboration between brands as economic actors, communities, and local residents forms an important foundation for strengthening community resilience. “Hopefully this moment serves as a reminder that attention to affected communities remains important, and every small effort from all of us can help them move forward,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Government provided economic stimulus assistance to 7,643 families affected by hydrometeorolological disasters in East Aceh District with a value of Rp5 million each. The assistance was presented symbolly by Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf in East Aceh on Monday (16 March).
In addition to economic stimulus assistance, the Social Ministry also distributed housing supplies to 7,643 families of Rp3 million each, life guarantee assistance to 28,831 individuals totalling Rp38.9 billion. Additionally, compensation for heirs of those killed in hydrometeorolological disasters for 60 individuals totalling Rp900 million, and compensation for those severely injured in hydrometeorolological disasters for two individuals totalling Rp10 million.
Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that apart from this assistance, the government also distributed housing repair assistance valued at Rp60 million.
