Security for People's Banquet in Thousand Islands confirmed optimal
Thousand Islands Police Chief AKBP Argadija Putra has confirmed that security for the Thousand Islands People’s Feast, held to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at Plaza Square on Pramuka Island, proceeded optimally.
“Security has been confirmed to run optimally with the involvement of personnel from the Thousand Islands Police, North Thousand Islands Sector Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Fire Department (Damkar), Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and the Thousand Islands PK3D,” said Argadija in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He stated that security was carried out in an integrated manner to ensure the entire series of activities could take place safely, orderly, and comfortably for the public.
Security was implemented in an integrated manner together with the TNI, the Thousand Islands Regency Government, and other relevant elements. “We want to ensure that the public can participate in the entire series of the People’s Feast safely, orderly, and comfortably,” he said.
During the People’s Feast, basic food packages, door prizes, entertainment, and competition prizes were distributed, adding to the festivity of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
Until the activity ended at around 2:00 p.m. Western Indonesia Time, said Argadija, the entire series of the People’s Feast on Pramuka Island proceeded smoothly, safely, orderly, and festively. Public enthusiasm was evident from the high level of participation in the various activities that had been prepared.
“We hope that this activity will not only be a celebration of independence, but also strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation, nationalism, unity, and togetherness among the community in the Thousand Islands region,” he said.
The Thousand Islands People’s Feast was opened by Thousand Islands Regent M. Fadjar Churniawan, followed by the symbolic distribution of basic food packages to the public by the Thousand Islands Regent, the Thousand Islands Police Chief, and the Military District Command 0502 North Jakarta Liaison Officer.
