In the course of the Ramadhan fasting month, particularly
toward the Idul Fitri holidays when most people in the city are
flocking to bus terminals and railway stations to return to their
homes, criminals will again be eyeing the homebound rush.

Based on past experience, a lot of people will become the
target of crime committed by robbers, pickpockets and ticket
scalpers.

To guarantee the security of these passengers, the police
should step up their activities to protect citizens, who mostly
belong to middle- and lower-income groups.
