Security disruptions escalate in Yahukimo following KKB leader's escape

ANTARA – The Damai Cartenz 2026 Task Force reports that the activities of Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) have increased in Yahukimo, Papua Pegunungan, following the escape of Kopi Tua Heluka, a leading figure in the KKB, from the Wamena Correctional Facility. Security forces have intensified security operations and taken various firm actions against the KKB, which is suspected of carrying out various acts of violence.
