Securing Several Awards - MAMI Triumphs at AAM Best of the Best Awards
Investment management company PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI) has once again secured several prestigious awards at the Best of the Best Awards 2026, organised by Asia Asset Management in Hong Kong. MAMI retained the Best Asset Management Company accolade for the tenth time, while also winning Best Bond Manager for the third consecutive year. The company announced this information in a press release in Jakarta yesterday.
Additionally, one of the awards received was CEO of the Year, bestowed upon Afifa, CEO & President Director of MAMI. This achievement further solidifies MAMI’s position as a reliable investment manager and the preferred investment partner for investors in Indonesia.
Afifa stated that these awards recognise the outstanding achievements of MAMI’s talented team in delivering high-quality investment solutions and services. MAMI has consistently maintained its leading position in the industry by continuously introducing innovations in various high-quality investment solutions, including mutual funds and Investment Management Contracts, while prioritising the interests of every client through disciplined portfolio management and strong governance. “Our focus is on balancing robust risk management with the ability to consistently generate alpha across all portfolios we manage. We are also continuing to innovate to offer new opportunities through our suite of solutions for our retail and institutional clients,” she said.
She added that over the past six years since 2020, MAMI has maintained its top position in the industry through significant growth in assets under management, both in the retail and institutional segments. On 31 March 2026, MAMI completed the acquisition of PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia (Schroders Indonesia), which further strengthens MAMI’s position as the preferred investment manager for investors. “The intention behind this acquisition is not merely a transaction to increase business scale, but rather to open a new chapter in our journey to deliver broader impact. By combining the talents and expertise of MAMI and Schroders Indonesia, we are simultaneously enhancing our ability to provide high-quality investment solutions and strengthening our leadership in Indonesia’s growing investment management industry,” Afifa explained.

As of the end of 2025, MAMI had total assets under management of Rp124.3 trillion, making it the investment management company in Indonesia with a market share of 11.9% among approximately 90 investment managers operating in the country. MAMI is also the largest mutual fund manager in Indonesia, with mutual fund assets under management reaching Rp63 trillion as of December 2025, holding a market share of 9.3%.
Currently, MAMI manages 37 mutual funds and 72 Investment Management Contracts (KPD) distributed through three channels: Institutional Sales, Partnership Distribution, and Direct Retail Distribution. The number of MAMI investors has grown to 2.6 million in the same period, equivalent to 12.8% of the total 20.2 million mutual fund investors in Indonesia (data from KSEI, as of December 2025).
