Securing Serial Number 2, Jona Promotes Collaboration and Unity at Hipmi Congress
The contest for the chairmanship of BPP Hipmi has entered the determination phase following the drawing of serial numbers held in Jakarta on Friday (24/4/2026). This moment also serves as an affirmation of the candidates’ communication direction in building support ahead of the 18th Hipmi Congress.
One of the candidates, Ade Jona Prasetyo, received serial number 2 in the drawing. The drawing took place in the presence of regional executives from various areas. Jona was accompanied by several Chairmen of BPD Hipmi from Sumatra to Papua.
In the context of the contest, the serial number is often interpreted as a symbol of the candidate’s political message. The number 2 by Jona’s team is interpreted as a representation of collaboration and an approach that embraces various interests within the organisation.
After the drawing, Jona stated that the serial number becomes a symbol of togetherness in building the organisation moving forward. “This number 2 is not just a number, but a symbol that we walk side by side. Let us unite, with new energy for Hipmi forever. We move forward together,” said Jona.
He emphasised that this contest is not merely a personal competition, but a momentum to strengthen the organisation nationally. According to him, the role of the regions is key in determining Hipmi’s direction moving forward.
“Hipmi is our big home for all of us. I want to ensure that all regions feel ownership, feel heard, and become part of this great journey,” said Jona.
Support from regional executives was evident in the drawing atmosphere coloured by the presence of hundreds of supporters. They voiced their support openly at the event location.
Several BPD executives assessed that Jona has a communication approach that is close to the regions. He is considered capable of bridging central and regional interests in the organisation.
Chairman of Jona’s Winning Team, Sona Maesana, said integrity is the main foundation in building the organisation. According to Sona, Hipmi needs to present programmes that concretely address members’ needs.
“Every programme must produce concrete solutions for business access, capital, networking, and business growth,” said Sona.
